Windows 7 crosses 4 million milestones

Use of Windows 7 operating system is increasing rapidly. Many are moving from Windows 7 to Microsoft’s updated operating system. The usage rate of Windows 7 has increased dramatically in the last 12 months. Now the world’s largest software maker has claimed that Windows 7 users have crossed 100 million. Microsoft’s Vice President of Modern Life and Device Group, Yusuf Mehdi, said in a tweet, “Windows 7 subscribers now exceed 10 million. There are all kinds of customers, including lenses, Xbox and Surface tabs, starting from PC users.

 

As of September 27, Windows 8 had subscribers of 5 million. Then in March this year, the number increased to 8 million. And this month, the number of subscribers reached 5 crore.

 

Microsoft says that within four years of the new version of Windows 7 coming to the market, only 5 percent of PC users have come under the new version. In July last year, Windows 7 operating system market share was 5.9 percent. In August, it rose 2.5 percent to 5.7 percent. Consumer growth rates have been relatively low since the expense of free upgrades on July 28.
